Extracted from the renowned Zgounder Mine in the Anti-Atlas Mountains of Morocco, this native silver developed within a complex network of mineralized underground fractures shaped by multiple stages of geological activity. Over time, silver-bearing solutions moved through openings in the host rock, depositing metallic silver in delicate crystalline and wire-like forms as temperatures and chemistry gradually changed underground.
The Zgounder deposit is internationally recognized for producing exceptional silver specimens with intricate structure, bright metallic luster, and remarkable aesthetic quality. The region’s unique geology created the conditions needed for precious metals to concentrate and crystallize into highly collectible forms.
Brilliant, sculptural, and naturally metallic, this specimen reflects both the dynamic geology of southern Morocco and the remarkable crystal growth processes that produce native silver in its pure form.
