Siderite on Ferberite

The Panasqueira Mine is one of Portugal’s mineral localities and has been worked for tungsten since the late 1800s. It is still an active mining area today.

Panasqueira is known among collectors for its excellent ferberite and quartz specimens, along with siderite and other minerals. The mine has produced some of the finest tungsten-mineral specimens in the world, making it a classic European locality.
