This amethyst formed within cavities in volcanic rock, where silica-rich fluids crystallized into purple quartz. During growth, iron-bearing minerals became trapped within the crystal and later oxidized to form hematite inclusions, adding depth and contrast to the interior. The Amethyst Road locality in Uljin County is known for producing distinctive specimens with rich color and internal character.

Combining violet tones with red inclusions, this piece reflects both the conditions of crystal growth and the later changes that enhance its natural complexity.
