Heulandite

This heulandite formed in cavities within the vast basaltic flows of the Deccan Traps, where mineral-rich fluids slowly deposited delicate, tabular crystals. The Deccan Traps are a classic locality for zeolite minerals, known for their well-formed and often sparkling heulandite specimens.

Light, lustrous, and intricately clustered, this piece reflects the slow, post-volcanic mineralization processes that created beautiful crystalline pockets within India’s iconic flood basalts.
