Barite

This barite formed in mineralized veins where barium-rich fluids slowly crystallized within open spaces in the host rock, producing the broad, glassy blades characteristic of the species. Specimens from Cerro Warihuyn are noted for their clarity, pale tones, and well-defined crystal groups.
