Malachite

This malachite comes from the Katanga Copper Crescent, a major copper-bearing region in southeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. The area contains extensive copper and cobalt deposits and is known for a wide variety of secondary copper minerals, including malachite, azurite, cuprite, and chrysocolla.
