A dinosaur bone from the Late Jurassic, around 155–148 million years ago, dates to a period when large sauropods, theropods, and other dinosaurs were widespread. Fossil bones from this age are especially well known from the Morrison Formation of the western United States, which preserves a wide range of Late Jurassic dinosaurs.

The Jurassic ended about 145 million years ago, making specimens from this period roughly 150 million years old. 🦕
