Elbite and Clevelandite

Stak Nala is a mineral locality in the high mountains of northern Pakistan. It became well known among collectors for producing exceptional pegmatite specimens, particularly colorful tourmaline.

The area is remote and difficult to reach, with mineral pockets found high in the mountains. Stak Nala specimens became especially popular with collectors during the late 20th century and helped establish Pakistan as an important source of fine tourmaline specimens.
