M’Fouati is a mining district in southern Republic of the Congo, known for its lead, zinc, and copper mines. Mining in the area dates back to the early 20th century.

The district is an interesting collector locality because its old workings have produced a variety of colorful secondary copper minerals. Chrysocolla and shattuckite are among the more distinctive minerals associated with M’Fouati, making specimens from the area relatively uncommon.
