Aquamarine from the Erongo Mountains is classic beryl material from Namibia. The area is known for its granite-hosted pegmatites, aquamarine formed in open pockets alongside minerals like black schorl tourmaline, feldspar, quartz, and fluorite.

The Erongo Mountains have produced aquamarine in shades ranging from pale blue to deeper blue and blue-green, with some crystals showing noticeable color zoning. The locality has also produced a wide variety of other collector minerals, including jeremejevite, topaz, fluorite, and cassiterite.
