Thomsonite

Goble is a small community along the Columbia River in northern Oregon. The area is part of the Columbia River Basalt region, where ancient lava flows cover much of the landscape.

Thomsonite from Goble is found in cavities within the basalt. The locality is known for rounded, botryoidal specimens, making Goble a recognized Oregon location for this zeolite.
