Quartz with Amethyst, and Hematite

The Goboboseb Mountains are part of the Brandberg area, one of Namibia’s famous mineral-collecting regions. The mountains are located in a remote desert landscape and are known for producing distinctive quartz specimens.

The area is especially recognized for amethyst and hematite inclusions in quartz, which can create striking internal colors and patterns. Specimens from Goboboseb are highly regarded by collectors and are a classic example of Namibia’s unusual quartz localities.
