$100.00 USD

Locality:

Gold Hill Mine, Gold Hill, Tooele County, Utah, USA

Dimensions:

9 x 7 x 3.5 cm

This colorful mineral association formed in the oxidized zone of a copper-rich deposit, where arsenic-bearing solutions deposited rare lavendulan alongside green conichalcite and iron-rich goethite. The Gold Hill district is known for producing an unusual variety of secondary minerals formed through complex near-surface alteration processes.

The vivid blue lavendulan contrasted against earthy goethite and bright conichalcite reflects multiple stages of oxidation and mineral replacement, preserving a striking combination from one of Utah’s classic mining regions.
