Discovered in 2009 in the desert near Little Spitzkoppe, these fluorite specimens are known for their unusual mushroom-shaped growth.

The rounded fluorite crystals developed into cap-like forms, giving the specimens their name. The 2009 find produced a limited number of pieces and is a distinctive fluorite occurrence from Namibia.
