The Yaogangxian Mine is one of China’s mineral localities and has been worked primarily for tungsten. Located in Hunan Province, the mine has produced exceptional collector specimens for decades.

Yaogangxian is especially known for its fluorite, quartz, wolframite, and other well-formed crystals. Fluorite from the mine is popular with collectors because of its sharp crystal forms and the wide range of colors found at the locality.
