Ganadao is part of the Warsak intrusive complex, a rugged area in northern Pakistan known for its unusual igneous rocks and mineral localities.

The Warsak area has produced several collector minerals, with fluorapatite occurring as well-formed crystals in the intrusive rocks. Specimens from Ganadao are less commonly seen than material from Pakistan’s major pegmatite districts, making this a distinctive locality.
