Euchroite

Libethen is a historic mining district in present-day Slovakia (formerly part of the Kingdom of Hungary), known for its copper mineral occurrences. The area is especially famous as the type locality for several copper phosphates, including libethenite.

Specimens labeled from Libethen reflect the historic mining district that contributed many important copper mineral discoveries in European mineralogy.
