Locality:

Sara Alicia Mine, San Bernardo,Alamos Municipality, Sonora, Mexico

Dimensions:

5 x 3 x 3.5cm

This Erythrite formed in the oxidized zone of a cobalt-rich deposit, where mineral-laden waters altered primary ores and deposited vivid pink, needle-like crystals across the host rock. The Sara Alicia Mine, a historic cobalt-nickel locality, is known for producing striking radial sprays and fibrous coatings of this intensely colored mineral.

Both delicate and vibrant, this specimen reflects the unique chemistry of cobalt minerals and stands as a classic example of one of Mexico’s most recognizable and increasingly scarce Erythrite localities.
