Copper

This native copper comes from the Ray Mine, one of Arizona’s largest and longest-producing copper mines. Located in Pinal County, the deposit has been an important source of copper since the early 1900s and is part of the region’s extensive porphyry copper belt. Arizona is often referred to as the "Copper State" due to its abundant copper resources, and the Ray Mine has played a significant role in that history.
