Cinnabar

Khaidarkan is one of Central Asia's major mercury deposits and has also been an important source of antimony. Cinnabar is the main mercury ore mineral found at the deposit.

The deposit has produced cinnabar specimens in association with stibnite, quartz, and other minerals. Khaidarkan is a well-known locality for both mineral specimens and mercury mining.
